Please note that these Beyond Housing affordable rental units are designed for families with children and with low to moderate incomes.

Beyond Housing uses the Region of Waterloo’s qualification criteria for eligibility. To apply for these rentals, your maximum household income must be under $65,500 for a two-bedroom unit and under $71,000 for a three-bedroom unit. The two-bedroom units are intended for at least two residents and the three-bedroom units are intended for at least three residents.

We expect that this building will be MPAC property tax exempt. This means we cannot issue rent receipts for income tax purposes. This may affect your Ontario Trillium Benefit.

DESCRIPTION

Stacked townhomes with 20 units. No elevator. Some units are barrier-free. Appliances included (fridge, stove, washer, dryer). Individual air exchange heat/AC. See floor plans below.

Rental FAQs

Rent is $1,050 per month for two-bedroom units and $1,150 per month for three-bedroom units.

Units are individually metred and tenants are responsible for their own utilities (electricity and water). A deposit with Enova may be required. This is a no-smoking building. Tenants are responsible for purchasing tenant liability insurance.

The townhouses are located close to a bus stop and within walking distance of grocery stores and schools.

APPLICATION PROCESS

To begin the application process, please complete the application below.

We will let you know by October 27 if your application is approved. Homes will be ready for move-in at the end of February 2027. Move-in dates will be confirmed once the building is completed and receives its occupancy permit.
