” The conversation about how to use this property really turned when we learned about the partnership with Women’s Crisis Services. As a family, we are very pleased that our former home can be transitioned into new homes for so many people. “
Jim Hallman, Capital Campaign Chair
The Beyond Housing business model is simple and highly effective. For each project, construction costs are covered by a combination of government grants, private donations, and a mortgage. Our capital campaigns ensure the rent received from tenants is sufficient to pay the ongoing mortgage and operating costs.
A donation of land from a caring local family launched this project. And now, with overwhelming support from our community, we’ve reached our $2-million campaign goal and construction has begun. Watch for updates and photos as we look forward to welcoming tenants in fall 2026.
Your support will help people in our community have access to safe, stable, affordable housing. You are building the foundation for health and well-being, and providing a new beginning for the next season of their lives.
Donations are still welcome, and any funds not needed for New Beginnings will be invested as seed funding for new projects currently in the predevelopment phase.
